OUR GROWING FAMILY (it's not what you think.)
We are very pleased to present to you, the newest addition to the Farmstead...
Mr. Wendell Bear-y.
Here's the deal: We were not necessarily in the market for a puppy, although we wanted a dog eventually. But then we met a beautiful family and spent the afternoon talking about bees and turkeys and pigs and natural water filtration systems. And then they had these puppies. These GREAT PYRENEES puppies, which are the perfect breed for farms. And then they offered us a puppy in exchange for homemade wine and beer. We love bartering! And then we tried to have self control and realize that we don’t need a dog right now. And then we saw him. I mean, LOOK AT HIM.So, you can probably guess what happened next.
Yep. He already has a YouTube channel. So now, we find ourselves in the midst of our first puppy training experience. We are trying to be strict and firm and teach him to sleep outside and in his crate, but that is pretty impossible when he looks just like a teddy bear and you just want to snuggle up in bed with him! Any tricks and tips from the veterans out there? What are your do's and don'ts? - Hannah.
